Red Tape Reduction Task Force
On March 13, 2020, Council passed a number of motions related to precautions to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) and to help ensure our community’s wellbeing.
All County Council advisory committees meetings will be cancelled until April 21, 2020, at which time Council will consider whether to extend cancellations.
The Planning and Development Red Tape Reduction Task Force is established by Bylaw 37-2019 (31.7 KB) .
The committee will identify opportunities to streamline departmental operations and increase efficiencies related to the County’s Planning and Development Services’ permitting process.

The committee terminates and this bylaw is repealed the earlier of thirty days after the day that the committee delivers its final report on Red Tape Reduction to Priorities Committee or Council or 18 months after this Bylaw is passed.
The 2020 meeting dates will be posted once approved by the committee.
