Roadside Cleanup: 15 local groups cleaned 132 km of roadside ditches raising $8200 for their charities.

Pitch-In and make a difference. Month of May

Pitch-In is an annual campaign that encourages Strathcona County neighbours, co-workers, students and friends to actively work together to keep the community clean by collecting the waste that is left behind after the spring thaw. For more information or to volunteer please call Recreation, Parks and Culture at 780-467-2211 or email recreation@strathcona.ca.

Help wipe out graffiti! Year-round

Help maintain the appearance of your neighborhood by wiping out graffiti today. Did you know that Strathcona County provides free graffiti removal kits to residents? It's true! For more information call Recreation, Parks and Culture at 780-464-8470 or email graffiti@strathcona.ca.

Fundraise AND keep Strathcona County looking great. Each weekend in May

Have your non-profit group join the Roadside Cleanup and get paid while you help make Strathcona County roads litter free. To apply or for more information, contact Transportation and Agriculture Services at 780-417-7100. The application deadline is March 28, 2013. 

Get with the Green Routine! Year-round

With your participation, by sending materials for recycling and composting, we have the potential to divert 89% of our waste from the landfill. Your efforts now, will help make sure we have a healthy community for generations to come.
