Parkland Memorial Program
This program provides individuals, groups and organizations with the opportunity to beautify parks in Strathcona County by planting trees or dedicating a bench in remembrance, observance or acknowledgment of an appropriate event, occasion or individual. The Parkland Memorial Program is only for installation on Strathcona County park spaces.
Requests are accepted year-round. Installations take place May through September and trees are planted in the Spring and Fall (weather dependent). Requests received after August 1 cannot be guaranteed installation within the same calendar year. A plaque is installed with the amenity or tree to serve as a lasting tribute.
|Bench with plaque||$1450|
|Tree with plaque and cedar wooden post||$1375 - $1525|
Please note that additional charges may apply if secondary locates are required.
