Leadership development

Leaders in Training (LIT)

This is for students who want to explore their leadership abilities, who have completed grade 7 and are 12 - 17 years old. This exciting program is offered  as summer program, or throughout the school year. 

Team Building
Let us work with your youth group for a unique team building opportunity at either the Strathcona Wilderness Centre or the Kinsmen Leisure Centre.

Want to have your voice heard? Looking to volunteer? Ready to be more involved in your community? Here is your chance!

Aquatic Leadership 
Do you enjoy being in the water and working as part of a team? If so then check out the Junior Lifeguard Club and KLC Extreme Lifeguard Squad. There are several aquatic leadership programs offered that can help you obtain the training required to become a lifeguard or swim instructor. 

Wipeout Graffiti
Get involved to help wipe out graffiti. You can help maintain the appearance of your neighbourhood. Learn how.
