Pioneer Housing Foundation
Accommodation for functionally independent and medically stable seniors 65 years and older. Operates Clover Bar Lodge, Silver Birch Lodge, Lakeside Legion Manor, Apple Blossom Manor and Josephburg Homestead Place.
Seniors' Off Peak Local Bus Pass
Free to qualifying Strathcona County Seniors, 65+. Bus service in Sherwood Park only, valid during off-peak hours.
Strathcona County Seniors' Property Tax Rebate
Strathcona County Council provides a $100 rebate on municipal property tax to low-income seniors. Cheques are issued automatically to qualifying households by Alberta Seniors and Community Supports by the end of July.
Yearly Seniors' Commuter Bus Pass
Strathcona Transit commuter bus pass at a reduced cost for seniors who receive Guaranteed Annual Income Supplement cheques.
