I am pleased to have been appointed to the following Boards and Committees:

I am extremely excited about joining these groups and look forward to supporting the members as they work toward achieving their priorities in the next year.
As representative of Council, I will share Council and County goals, looking for common objectives where we can work together to increase the quality of life of our urban and rural residents in Strathcona County. In an effort to strengthen the partnerships, I will also report their challenges and successes back to Council. I take my appointment on committees very seriously and believe they are an integral part of my role as as Councillor. Attendance and participation are a crucial part of all elected officials' obligations.
Because I feel strongly that residents have a right to be fully informed, I will be posting my attendance on all of these committees here as well as at www.CouncillorCarr.com . I will also be reporting to residents on the activities of these committees on a regular basis. These dates are for the 2010 - 2013 term.

In 2010 we had 73 residents interviewing for 47 positions on a dozen committees. These committees are as diverse and exciting as our community, dealing with issues that range from social to environmental and economic.
