The following is a bibliography of published works about the history of Strathcona County. Entries are in alphabetical order, by author.

The principal local libraries are:

  • Strathcona County Museum and Archives
  • Strathcona County Public Library uses Dewey numbers.
  • University of Alberta, Bruce Peel Special Collections (BPSC) uses Library of Congress numbers.
  • Edmonton Public Library uses Dewey numbers.
  • Our Roots is a library, archive, museum and school all in one. Check their collection to find Canadian local histories in French and English.

Each entry gives a citation for the work noting the libraries known to have copies of each work (local libraries are given first) and the call number for the item.

Note: Strathcona County Museum and Archives has a reading area in its library to review materials. Books at the museum are not catalogued and can only be used on the premises.
