Christmas in the Heartland

November 26-27, 2016


From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., experience authentic holiday customs at the annual Christmas in the Heartland celebration. Ice carvings, sleigh rides, festival markets and many more family activities will be held across eight community halls and churches. End the day with festivities, free chili, and fireworks at Heartland Hall from 4:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.


Three locations are open to the public on Sunday:

  • Bremner House features art and heritage activities, vintage tractors, spinning, quilting, Aboriginal and Métis programming from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Bethany Lutheran Church showcases a large collection of Nativities from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
  • FREE public skating at the Moyer Recreation Centre from 1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m.
