Exploring LID Opportunities in the Capital Region

On September 20, 2011 Strathcona County and the City of Edmonton hosted a workshop to help shape development of next steps for LID implementation in our communities and explore successful LID options for your next project. 

The goals of the workshop were to:

  • Share success stories
  • Address barriers to LID implementation
  • Develop next steps for LID implementation

  • Monitoring & Performance Assessment
  • Challenges & Opportunities
  • Costs & Financial Performance
  • Vegetative Practices
Format

A one-day workshop consisting of:
  • Presentations by experts on each session topic;
  • Breakout sessions, with representation of individuals from diverse backgrounds at each table;
  • Keynote speaker at lunch;
  • Guided field trip to local LID projects
