Clearing snow around fire hydrants
Keeping your driveway and sidewalk clear of snow is important.
If there is a fire hydrant near your home, please clear away snow or ice so that at least the top half of the hydrant is visible. That way, in an emergency, Emergency Services' crews can find the hydrant with the greatest possible speed.
