Strathcona County's Transportation and Agriculture Services provides a range of services, including rural roadside vegetation control, public land weed control, subdivision brush control and drainage and water management projects.
Additionally, the department offers information and services for controlling pests, weeds and crop pests.
- Pests: Working with residents to resolve control issues. Offering a range of information and services.
- Weeds: Assisting residents with weed control issues by making recommendations based on resident needs.
- Clubroot: A proactive inspection program is in place to minimize the spread of this soil-borne disease.
- Vegetation control: Committed to a safe and environmentally responsible vegetation control program.
- Soil & Water: Working with federal and provincial agencies and residents to implement responsible soil and water management techniques.
