Residential street clearing - Priority 4

October 18, 2011

Safety Reminder
Parents are asked to remind their children to stay off the windrows and piles of snow.

Residential snow clearing

  • Priority 4's begin when Priority 3's are complete.
  • Please remove rubber mats, ramps, grates and any other materials at the edge of your driveway that may interfere with snow clearing.

Parking restrictions
If you live on a Priority 4 street, please watch for No Parking signs posted at the neighbourhood entrance and remove your vehicles from the street.

  • The parking restriction goes into effect 24 hours after the No Parking signs are up, and remains until the signs are removed.
  • If any vehicles must be towed, they will be removed to the nearest cleared road.

Residential snow clearing is weather dependent
Please note: The time required to clear snow from residential streets should be complete in about two weeks, but is weather dependent. In the event of further snow, crews will have to attend to streets with higher traffic volumes first. Residential snow clearing will then resume after major roadways have been cleared.
