The 2010 Rural Road Program aligns with direction in the recently approved 2010 Sustainable Rural Roads Master Plan to:
- schedule paving overlays prioritized thorugh an annual road condition assessment, rather than according to a prescribed amount of kilometres annually
- use width-saving road rehabilitation techniques
- use different treatment options to maximize life of the road
This year's road improvements include:
