2011 Stuff-A-Bus Campaign
We did it! We met our goal of 6,000 kg of food for 2011
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the 2011 Stuff-A-bus campaign. Together we collected 5899.5 kg of food and over $2200 cash donations for our community. All donations made in Strathcona County stay in our community.
A special thank you goes out to all those who volunteered their time to collect, sort and solicit the food donations on Saturday, December 3 at all Sherwood Park Save-On location. Without your time and dedication this event could not happen. The Strathcona County food bank collects more than 80 per cent of its food for the year during the holiday season, and so donations are vital to keeping the food bank full year-round.
Unfortunately, the need never ends and continues to grow every year. Keep in mind, you can donate to the Strathcona Food Bank throughout the year at your local Save-On Foods.
