The Recreation Guide is distributed to approximately 28,000 households in Strathcona County and over 1,500 local businesses and community groups.
How to request advertising space
Send in a request by printing and completing the
Advertisement Booking Request Application and submit it through e-mail, fax, or mail prior to the booking deadline. Please enclose payment at time of request. Please note: space is in high demand and not all requests can be accommodated.

Your advertising request will be confirmed after the deadline. Once you receive confirmation, please review the deadlines and prepare your artwork or support files. Ad fees include graphic design and layout. This means you can submit completed artwork or supply support files direct to the graphic designer including ad text/content, photos, logos or images.
You will receive two proofs:
- First proof to review and provide changes or corrections
- Final proof to review changes and provide confirmation of approval
Please note: prices are subject to change depending on changes in print and paper costs.
