Everybody Gets to Play Family Day
Thank you to everyone who joined us on Monday, February 20.
Over $16,700 was raised from Everybody Gets to Play from admission fees for the day.
Donations to Everybody Gets to Play provide opportunities for children, youth and families to participate in recreation, arts and sport activities. The program increases access to and participation in recreation programs and services by families who are living on low income in Strathcona County.
Everybody Gets to Play goes beyond providing access, by addressing additional barriers to recreation such as transportation, awareness, and time and also by providing opportunities for parents to participate with their children. The intention of the program is to make a lasting impact on children and their families, helping them to develop healthy bodies, active minds, strong families, social skills and self-esteem.
