Broadmoor Public Golf Course
Arena and Clubhouse Reinvesment project is now underway
- Entrance to Clubhouse has been changed to east exit doors near washrooms and west entrance next to snack bar only. The far west entrance door on patio will be CLOSED and fencing will be moved to enlarge construction area.
- BBQ deck on east side will be removed the week of August 23.
- Ramp access to the Clubhouse will be CLOSED the week of August 23.
- Work will commence on arena entrance pilings and new ramp to the Clubhouse. Golfers will be re-routed through existing walkway on east side of parking lot opposite the tennis courts and up the service road to practise greens.
- Carts continue to be redirected around the Pro Shop and will not be permitted between the buildings where the outdoor patio has been relocated. With ramp changes power carts will also have restricted access into the parking lot for golfer safety. Golfers requiring any assistance with access or equipment can contact Pro Shop at 780-467-7373.
- South #1 gold tee box has been amalgamated with the blue tee box as this area is required during construction.
- A temporary parking lot fence against the existing curb stops on the east side of the building has been installed. Overflow parking is available at the Sherwood Park Arena/Sports Centre across Oak Street.
- Golf play for the remainder of the season will commence off Hole #10.
- The Arena dressing rooms will be unavailable for the remainder of the season to begin installation of a new elevator and staircase. This will be constructed prior to the overall Arena construction start-up.
