Joint Planning Study
Strathcona County has engaged in a joint planning study exercise with the City of Edmonton that includes those lands that form our joint boundary along the County's western edge. The goal of this study is to ensure there is a coordinated approach between the two municipalities for future planning, as well as to facilitate open communication for ongoing decision-making and issue resolution. This study will result in recommendations to both County Council and City Council to address immediate and long-term needs for planning and development within the joint planning study area.
