Aggregate Levy Bylaw 41-2009
A bylaw to authorize the implementation of a community aggregate payment levy, effective September 1, 2009.

Alarm Systems Bylaw 31-2008
A bylaw for the purpose of implementing an alarm system permit fee, and to impose a response fee associated with police responses to (non-fire related) false alarms.

Animal Control Bylaw 44-2002
This bylaw regulates the keeping and harbouring of animals on land within Strathcona County, with the exception of dogs. For regulation of dogs, see Dog Control Bylaw 45-2002.

Assessment Review Board Bylaw 7-2010
This bylaw establishes the Assessment Review Board which hears complaints on assessment decisions made by the County.

Casino Bylaw 100-2001
A bylaw that prohibits casinos in Strathcona County.
Cellular Phone Bylaw 27-2009
A bylaw to regulate the use of hand-held cellular phones while operating a motor vehicle on highways under the direction, control, and management of Strathcona County, effective September 1, 2009.
Civic Addressing Bylaw 29-2010
This bylaw requires the numbering and display of numbers on parcels of land and buildings and units and sub-units within buildings.

Curfew Bylaw 62-2005
A bylaw for the purpose of imposing protective curfew regulations.

Disaster Services Agency Bylaw 76-94
This bylaw is to establish a disaster services agency which will serve as the Emergency Operations Control Group (EOCG).
Dog Control Bylaw 85-2006
This bylaw provides for the licensing, confinement and control of dogs.

Election Bylaw 15-2007
This bylaw provides for the conduct of municipal elections in Strathcona County.

Emergency Services Bylaw 68-2000
This bylaw establishes and provides for the efficient operation of a fire and ambulance service in Strathcona County. It also provides for the issuance of fire permits, reporting of property damaged by fire, control of fire hazards, open fires, incinerator fires, pit fires, smudge fires and types of materials burned.

Firearm Control Bylaw 11-2007
This bylaw regulates the use and discharge of firearms in Strathcona County.

Noise Control Bylaw 66-99
This bylaw regulates domestic and construction noise and prohibits the operation of motor vehicles which make objectionable noise. It also provides authority to issue permits outside the hours established by this bylaw in limited circumstances.

Nuisance and Unsightly Premises Bylaw 80-2007
This bylaw regulates and controls situations that create a visual nuisance or result in an unsightly property that interferes with the use and enjoyment of other premises in the area.

Off-Highway Vehicles Bylaw 53-93
This bylaw regulates the use of municipally controlled and managed highways for Off-Highway Vehicle Events.

Offsite Development Levies Bylaw 8-2010
This bylaw provides for the imposition and payment of offsite levies in respect to lands that are to be developed or subdivided.

Parking Bylaw 55-2001
This bylaw regulates the parking of motor vehicles and trailers on public and private property. It also regulates the use of disabled parking spaces and provides for the removal and impoundment of vehicles in contravention of the bylaw.

Parks Bylaw 30-92
This bylaw regulates operating hours, public conduct, camping, use of dangerous objects, littering, fires, animals, vehicles, boating, swimming, motorized vehicles and other matters in parks and recreational areas.

Public Transportation System Bylaw 44-88
This bylaw establishes the public transit system and rules governing passengers.

Roads: Deposit of Snow, Ice and Debris Bylaw 33-94
This bylaw promotes the safety of road users by regulating and controlling the deposit of snow, ice, dirt and debris onto highways, fire hydrants and County-controlled and managed roadways and sidewalks.

Rural Hamlet Boundaries Bylaw 40-2009
This bylaw defines the rural hamlet boundaries of Antler Lake, Ardrossan, Collingwood Cove, Half Moon Lake, Hastings Lake, Josephburg, North Cooking Lake and South Cooking Lake.

Safety Codes Bylaw 44-2003 and Amendment 82-2004
This bylaw applies to the administration and enforcement of the Safety Codes Act within Strathcona County as it relates to building, electrical, gas and plumbing. This bylaw was amended to establish requirements for Low-Flow Plumbing Fixtures.

School Buses, Use of Flashing Warning Lights and Stop Arms Bylaw 78-2001
This bylaw prohibits the use of alternating flashing lights and stop arms on any school bus operating on any road with a speed limit of 50 km/h or less within the Urban Service Area of Strathcona County.

Sewage System Bylaw 25-2001
This bylaw establishes terms of providing a sewage system, including conditions for treatment and disposal of sewage.

Special Roadway and Events Bylaw 105-2003
This bylaw controls and regulates special roadway events like parades, road races and triathlons on sidewalks, roads, trails, adjacent ditches and rights-of-way.

Speed Control Bylaw 5-2006
This bylaw regulates and controls the speed of motor vehicles in Strathcona County and provides the authority to determine where traffic control devices are located.

This bylaw regulates the operation of the Strathcona Airport (Josephburg).
Stubble Burning Bylaw 50-2003
This bylaw establishes a system of permits controlling the burning of land within Strathcona County.

Subdivision and Development Appeal Board Bylaw 75-2007
This bylaw establishes the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board which hears appeals on subdivision and development decisions made by the County.

This bylaw controls surface drainage on private and public sites within the County.

This bylaw establishes the tax rates for 2010.

Transportation of Dangerous Goods Route Bylaw 9-2004
This bylaw regulates travel routes for vehicles transporting dangerous goods and prohibits the transportation of dangerous goods on highways specified in the bylaw.

This bylaw designates truck routes and restricted truck routes within the Urban Service Area of Strathcona County.

This bylaw provides for the protection and enhancement of the environment through the use and enforcement of environmental and conservation easements.

This bylaw regulates the unauthorized use of County Property to promote the safe, enjoyable and reasonable use of such land and to protect and conserve natural ecosystems for the benefit of all citizens of the County.

Waste Management Bylaw 11-2008
This bylaw regulates the collection and disposal of waste including waste receptacles, types of waste, recycling stations and services, transfer stations, accounts.

Weight Restiction and Road Ban Bylaw 13-2008
This bylaw is for the purpose of restricting the weight of commercial vehicles and the goods being carried by commercial vehicles on Strathcona County highways.

Water: Supply of Potable 6-2006
This bylaw regulates the supply of potable water and includes information about opening and closing water accounts, meter reading, service pipes, restricting supply, unauthorized use and County work on private property.
