Responsibilities:

  • Support the County’s business applications to minimize disruptions and provide a seamless operating environment including technical support, installations and configurations of software, software upgrades, modifying software code and scripts and database support
  • Provide technical support for the OpenText ECM (Enterprise Content Management) product suite
  • Monitor the OpenText ECM operating environments to maximize and create efficiencies, ensuring performance and service level targets are met. Identify issues and provide recommendations. Develop and maintain supporting technical documentation
  • Seek opportunities to evolve and expand the effective use of OpenText ECM software and help lead projects to implement new functionality
  • Acquire and maintain an expert level of technical knowledge with the OpenText ECM solution including all third party applications and tools

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computing Science or a related Information Technology discipline plus five years of significant working experience in an IT environment
  • Working knowledge of ECM applications and concepts would be considered an asset or a willingness to train (for the right candidate, training will be provided)
  • Knowledge of client/server and web-based applications, technical architecture, database administration, software development and deployment methods
  • Solid technical expertise using logical and analytical problem solving
  • Proven ability to investigate, design, test and implement system solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, participating in solving problems, making decisions and sharing information in an open exchange of ideas and information
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

The annual salary range for this 35 hour a week position is $64,574 to $80,717.  Some evening and weekend work may be required on occasion.
