Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, both in person and on the telephone
- Accept admission, membership program and rental fees and sell available products and services
- Handle facility bookings
- Handle program registrations as well as transfers and cancellations
- Ensure accurate accountability for monies received
- Assist the public and staff with information regarding Gallery@501 and other County Recreation, Parks and Culture facilities
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of visual arts and art history
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good computer skills
- Must be able to work independently
- A high school diploma
- A degree, or pursuing a degree in visual arts is an asset
- Experience in Web Content Management, graphic design and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is an asset
The hourly wage range is $15.30 to $19.12, working part-time shifts that include days, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays. Customer Services Representatives will be expected to attend mandatory training sessions throughout the year.
