Responsibilities:

  • Provide business analysis, project management and leadership in technology related projects to ensure coherent, integrated and secure operating environments that effectively meet evolving business needs
  • Support others, identify issues and provide recommendations to ensure a stable operating environment while creating efficiencies and maximizing performance and service levels
  • Seek opportunities to evolve and expand the effective use of OpenText enterprise content management (ECM) software and help lead projects to implement new functionality
  • Acquire and maintain a working level of technical knowledge with the OpenText ECM solution including all third party applications and tools
  • Support the County’s business applications to minimize disruptions and provide a seamless operating environment

Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Computing Science or a related Information Technology discipline plus five years of significant working experience in an IT environment
  • Demonstrated skills and ability in project management and business analysis
  • Working knowledge of ECM applications and concepts would be considered an asset or a willingness to train (for the right candidate, training will be provided)
  • Proven organizational, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Sound business acumen along with the ability to identify and interpret business needs 
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, manage and balance a variety of interests and objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others to achieve business objectives and results through establishing and maintaining good working relationships to bring positive and valuable business solutions to the table

The annual salary range for this 35 hour a week position is $64,574 to $80,717.  Some evening and weekend work may be required on occasion.
