Bus Cleaner

Responsibilities
- routine daily cleaning of buses including floors, windows, stairs, and trash disposal
- dusting and wiping all ledges, including Operator’s area and dash
- may include cleaning of bio-hazards and disposal of “sharps”
- detail cleaning will include routine protocol items, plus removal and vacuuming of upholstered seats, washing ceilings, tracks and frames of windows and doors
- stripping and waxing of floors required on some units
- washroom cleaning may be required on charter buses
Qualifications
- the ability to work in a respectful workplace environment
- ability to perform various types of labour, including lifting, standing and bending
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper usage
The hourly wage range for this casual position is $15.30 to $19.12.
