Bus Cleaner

Temporary – 6 months
Responsibilities:
- Routine daily cleaning of buses including floors, windows, stairs, and trash disposal
- Dusting and wiping all ledges, including Operator’s area and dash
- May include cleaning of bio-hazards and disposal of “sharps”
- Detail cleaning will include routine protocol items, plus removal and vacuuming of upholstered seats, washing ceilings, tracks and frames of windows and doors
- Stripping and waxing of floors required on some units
- Washroom cleaning may be required on charter buses
Qualifications:
- The ability to work in a respectful workplace environment
- Ability to perform various types of labour, including lifting, standing and bending
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper usage
The hourly wage for this temporary position is $15.30 working day time or evening shifts. Some flexibility is required to accommodate service demands.
