How much time is there between when the bill is sent out and payment is due?

With both eBills and bills sent via the postal service, payment is due 20 days from the invoice date.

Can I pay my eBill online with Strathcona County?

The eBill is a new method of delivering the bill to the customer; it is not a method of payment. You pay your eBill using the payment method of your choice.

Can I review my utility bill payment history?

To view your payment history with Strathcona County, go to Your Accounts. Once you have registered, you will be able to check your utility account, tax account or accounts receivable.

If I do not receive my eBill, do I still have to pay a penalty?

First, check your spam filter to make sure it is set to recognize this address as a valid sender: .  If that does not work, call Strathcona County at 780-464-8272 or 780-464-8273.

Will Strathcona County remind me to check for an eBill?

No, Strathcona County does not send reminders. Once you have registered, you should expect your eBill about the same time or a day or two earlier than you received your bill through the postal service. If you do not receive your eBill, call 780-464-8272 or 780-464-8273. Penalties apply if payment is late.

What if I change my e-mail address?

If you change your e-mail address, it is essential that you re-register with your new address.

What if I move?

I have a dial-up Internet connection. Can I receive an eBill that way?

Yes; however, download times may vary.
