Need help with your taxes?
Free tax preparation will be offered for income qualified residents of Strathcona County during March and April 2012. Appointment scheduling will start in early March. Call 780-464-4044 to book an appointment or for more information. Limited appointments times available for April.

We will prepare simple tax returns only. We can also help you file your 2010 taxes - let us know when you book your appointment. Please see a professional tax specialist for complex returns.
How the tax clinics work:
- Call 780-464-4044 to book an appointment. Sorry, no walk-ins.
- Bring all required information to your scheduled appointment - Check here to see what you need to bring.
- Volunteers complete tax forms using a computer software program. All volunteers have undergone security screening and are trained by Canada Revenue Agency.
- Completed tax forms are sent electronically to Canada Revenue Agency. You will receive a paper copy for your records.
- A volunteer will review subsidies and benefits you may be eligible for and will help complete these application forms.
Strathcona County Family and Community Services is partnering with the Strathcona County Library, Make Tax Time Pay and Canada Revenue Agency's Community Volunteer Income Tax Program to bring you this service.
