Neighbour Day 2011
The Event 
Over 300 people attended the annual Neighbour Day event on September 18th at the Community Centre.
It was a fun filled afternoon with:
- Barbecue and refreshments
- Live music
- Road hockey
- Bouncy castle
- Face painting
- Connecting with neighbours!
Strathcona County has been celebrating Neighbour Day since 2009. It is a day to celebrate neighbours that enhance our lives. Residents are encouraged to connect with their neighbours to create friendly, fun and safe communities.
Contests
Community members were encouraged to participate in Neighbour Day themed contests leading up to the event.
Art Contest
Four pictures were chosen to create Neighbour Appreciation Cards.
