Strathcona County Utilities is inviting Proponents to provide proposals for municipal and school facilities waste collection services for Strathcona County’s municipal facilities, Recycle Stations and Brush Yard as well as for Elk Island Public Schools and Elk Island Catholic Schools.
The term for the County Work is tentatively scheduled to commence April 1, 2012. The term for the School Work is tentatively scheduled to commence in the fall of 2012. Sealed proposals clearly marked as indicated bellow will be received until 2:00:00 p.m. Alberta time, Thursday, January 19, 2012. Proposal documents must also indicate the Proponent’s name and return mailing address.

Proposal documents are available from Strathcona County Utilities at the above address between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and between 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Alternatively, the document can be found online at the Alberta Purchasing Connection site.
Proposal documents must be received by Strathcona County Utilities at the above address between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and between 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Proposals must be received during these times and before the Closing date and time. Proposals will be opened following the RFP Closing Time. No Proposal(s) submitted after the RFP Closing Time will be accepted. No faxed or electronically submitted Proposals will be accepted by the County. Each Proponent may submit only one Proposal.
Note: if an addendum is required, none will be issued until the week of January 2, 2012.
