Rooftop camp-out February 21 - 24
Congratulations Strathcona County! We raised $18,165.97 during the rooftop camp-out! Thank you to all our sponsors and donors during this fundraiser.
From February 21 at 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on February 24, SCES firefighters will camp-out on the roof of Fire Station #1 to raise funds and awareness for Muscular Dystrophy (MD).
Muscular Dystrophies are types of neuromuscular disorders that can cause muscles in the body to gradually decline and weaken. Muscular Dystrophy can strike at any age.
The goal is to raise $50,000 in 76 hours, so your help is appreciated! Getting involved is easy:
1. Donate in person at Fire Station #1 . From February 21 to 24, public are welcome to visit the firefighters on the roof top.
2. Donate online.
3. Donate in person at the Sherwood Park Mall. Members of SCES will be in the Mall at various times from February 21 to 24.
