Art exhibit engages viewers emotionally and psychologically through photographs

The Strathcona County Art Gallery@501 announces their newest exhibit, From the Outside In, photographs by Brenda Francis Pelkey. Beginning March 8, the exhibit will run until April 28.

From the Outside In is a review of work by photographer Brenda Francis Pelkey. A series of large format colour photographs, each piece engages the viewer visually, emotionally and psychologically. The photographs found in these series investigate psychologically charged, foreboding, gender aligned and domestic interiors.

Members of the public are invited to attend the opening reception with Brenda Francis Pelkey on March 8 at 7 p.m. at the Gallery@501.
